Glastonbury Festival - Why Is It So Popular?

In today's fast paced society it's very easy to forget that emotional background music is around us all the time manifesting itself in various different ways and forms, music for the most part acts as the backdrop to our lives and it is because we hear so much of it that we sometimes switch off and don't realize that it is there. Because music is a such a constant in our society these days this allows musicians who create emotional background music to thrive because there is always a function or event that requires high quality ambient noise to go with it and for some musicians it is far easier to create a composition when you already know the emotion and theme you are trying to create it around.
